Is Bitget Available in Australia?

Bitget's derivatives, leverage and futures products are restricted for Australian retail traders. ASIC has warned against offering leveraged crypto products to Australian retail clients without an Australian licence, and the Corporations Amendment (Digital Assets Framework) Bill 2025 (passed 1 April 2026) brings crypto exchanges and digital asset custody platforms under the AFSL regime. Australian residents should not treat Bitget as a compliant AUD on-ramp.

Pros

  • Industry-leading copy trading platform
  • Competitive derivatives trading fees
  • Growing selection of spot and futures markets
  • Protection fund for user asset security

Cons

  • Relatively newer exchange with less established track record
  • Limited regulatory approvals in major markets
  • Customer support quality can be inconsistent
